Sensi Jen is a 4th degree in Isshin Ryu Karate with over 20 years experience. As senior leader of the dedicated team of black belt instructors, all working together for students growth and confidence, skill and character.
As a dedicated team leader at Seacoast Family Martial Arts the vision is simple and clear, create a place
where everyone belongs.
Here on the New Hampshire seacoast, we've built an inclusive and supportive school where students of all ages
and abilities are encouraged to train, grow
and succeed both on and off the mat.
Isshin Ryu is known for its quick, efficient movements and powerful strikes, a style I’ve dedicated myself to for over two decades.
My martial arts journey has taken me across the world, training with respected instructors and learning directly from those connected to the art’s roots.
As both a mother and a longtime member of the Seacoast community, it was important to me to create a school where families feel welcome, supported, and inspired.
Today, Seacoast Family Martial Arts reflects that vision—a place where discipline, diversity, and growth come together.
At Seacoast Family Martial Arts, students explore a variety of styles—from traditional Okinawan Kobudo, with weapons like the bo staff and sai, to practical modern self-defense. What inspires me most as an instructor is watching students of all ages and abilities grow into their best selves.
I often remind them, a philosophy that builds resilience on and off the mat. Our community is beautifully diverse, and every student, from beginners to champions, finds encouragement and support here..
